I hate the RIAA. They're a bunch of greedy bastards. When will they finally realize they're beaten? It get ridiculous when they charge an 80-year-old woman of downloading music...

I understand them wanting to protect their copyrights and all but they are way way WAY too overzealous. You make nothing but enemies when you charge $20 for a CD of crappy music and then go after anyone who just wants to get the one decent song on an album. Or 80 year-old women.

I know I prefer to download one song than have to pay out the butt for an entire CD just to get that one song. RIAA doesn't seem to understand this. I don't know how many CDs I had purchased in the past just for one song (this was before the magic of downloading Smiley)

I don't mind paying for CDs if the whole thing is good. But there's a lot of stuff out there with just a couple good songs. The RIAA needs to put out better product if they want people to pay for it and not download it. The American public is pretty stupid in general but it's not dumb enough to shell out $15-$20 for assy music.

if its only got 1 good song, then the song and album aren't worth downloading or buying in my opinion.

Or maybe I hear a single on the radio and I just want that single and don't even want to bother to listen to the entire album. Stuff like that
