I had my scanner tuned into Junior's channel for the AMS race this past weekend.  It actually was better than having the radio feed on.  He didn't talk as much as I thought but he did get off some good ones.  (Kids, don't read).

"This car is looser than shit"

His car was new and the paint was still getting used to the heat so the driver's compartment was filling with smoke:
"My eyes are stinging like a son of a bitch"

And the topper:
"This fucker gets going and then ends up being a piece of shit" (almost spit out my beer on that one)

Junior finished 14th.  Not very good.

After the race, Junior had this to say: "There at the end, I don't know what the hell Tony Jr. and those guys did to the car, but it was terrible. We ran pretty good all day until the end."

Actually, he did stop talkiing towards the end of the race.  The third comment was the last one he made.  Prior to that, he asked for help from the 07 and was denied.  When I saw him falling back, I knew he wasn't happy.

Rich heard Jimmie Johnson tell his crew that he was coming up on Rueittaman and Harvick and they both had bad engines.  We never thought we'd use the driver's frequencies but they were so great.
