I was up until 3:00 this morning so bear with me on my thoughts.

Where the hell was Alice's bathroom on The Brady Bunch?

It's kind of, well, strange but I've been thinking about the bathrooms in some of the sitcoms.

The Huxtable family - five kids and one bathroom they could use.  Cliff and Claire never offered up the use of their bathroom.  Ever.  And there was a powder room downstairs that was mentioned just a few times.  Why can't Venessa use that to put on her makeup?

The Tanner family - three kids, two adults.  One bathroom.  Danny had his own so he's not included.  Again, he never offered it up when needed.  No downstairs bathroom ever mentioned.

The elite seem to have a shortage of bathrooms.

The Connor family - bathroom in Dan and Roseanne's bedroom.  One in Becky and Darlene's room.  One in DJ's bedroom.

The poor white trash has more accessbile bathrooms.  Kind of makes you go "Huummm".

On the same token, I always laugh when the entire group sits on one side of the table all crammed in when the entire other side is open.

Hehehe, I always point that out in That 70s Show. They're all crammed but one seat is open on the one side the camera is on. Silly cameras.

Don't forget that there's only one bathroom on the Enterprise-D Smiley

And cleaning.  The Tanner family at least cleaned since Danny was a neat freak.  The Connors house was always a mess (until after they won the lottery).  Did you ever see a Huxtable child with a dust rag in their hand?  A miad service would make sense for their stature but when?  Someone was always in that house.

And don't even get me started on Claire coming home from the office with those big earrings and total jewelry, perfect makeup.  And then she doesn't even stop to take off those high heels or the earrings but makes dinner with all that crap on.  OK - I am started.  She lives in New York City.  Professional women almost NEVER arrive at the office or leave the office with high heels.  In fact, most of them just leave the heels at the office.  They wear sneakers instead.  Claire's back must have been killing her if she never took those heels off.

Cliff always correcting people and making them call him "Dr." Huxtable.  Hell, he even made his step-granddaughter call him that they entire time she was living in the house!

Still haven't figured out where Alice's bathroom was.

She peed in a jar and pooped in the corner of her room.
