I am looking for an IP addressable web cam with audio that can be permanently mounted in position.  This will be going in our Mark III Truck Simulator so that we can broadcast an over the shoulder shot of the driver in the simulator to other areas of our training facility.  I am planning on spending about $400 - $500 on this.  Just needed to know if anyone has used anything like this.

Thanks

Sounds way more complex than the $50 webcam I won a few years ago that just does video and only does that moderately well.

That doesn't quite sound like a webcam.  Webcams are those cheap little things you plug into your computer and mount on the monitor so you can have grainy, low-framerate video feed on the Internet.

In any case, that's beyond my realm of A/V expertise.

Mine isn't grainy nor was it cheap...  I believe I paid $120 for mine 3 years ago.

Knack I'm really not sure what I'm looking for but this site had some nice cams:
