I happened to be doing a google search for "1680x1050".  To my surprise, google suggested doing an image search and provided 3 attractive desktop wallpapers as incentive.  Interesting, so I tried searching google images for my own resolution, and sure enough -- instant wallpaper selection.

Whoa, nice. I just tried it, too.

Google thinks of everything. It seems like every week, they have some new piece of software that does something awesome.

I don't think that's a google designed feature.  It just happens that people link different resolution wallpapers with, as one would expect, the resolution the wallpaper is in.  Google just indexes them that way.

No, maybe not, but the fact that GIS exists is a google-designed feature.

You can change wallpaper?Huh More choices other than blue???

:p

My wallpaper is a 30 second time elapsed photo of the night sky at my house. Clear sky with random clouds that are backlit from the moon.  One of my better photographs.

Freakin awsome sky...  The kind where you would catch me lakeside with a campfire burning, a large JBB & Coke and a fishin pole in the other hand.

Whenever I try to do that, the clouds move too fast and just smear across the sky. :\

Its like that all the time here.

The best scenes at night that we have is the moon sets.  The way our master bedroom windows face and the old logging road to the other end of our property, the moon sets in that channel and it appears that the lights are on in the bedroom. Yes, we don't have ANY window coverings in our house.  No one close enough to see in.
