Hello,
I am developer and I wish with your agreement to make to a MOD "pro" of DIGITAL Paintball. The MOD would be I think easily playable in competition.
My goal is to modify the play to make to a MOD "pro of it" (new models, maps...) in order to develop strategies as for plays such as battle field or counter strike...
I your answer waits, cordially.

Could you go into a bit more detail on what you're planning to do?  You can create new maps and other media without it having to be a mod.

I want to create a proMOD  like "promod" for counter strike source. Readapter the noises of step so that they are presents only if one run or readapter certain mods of play or same in creer (I thought has a new mod of similar play has counter strike or it would be necessary to buy its equipment, profit of money while fraggant or by gaining the round)

Ah, I've never played the promod for CS:S.

Well, here's the deal:  As interesting as it would be to see mods for Paintball2, it's not really in a moddable state.  It's really a mod itself, and I don't know how well making a mod for a mod is going to work.  It sounds like what you're trying to do is make it more like the Digital Paintball mod for Half-Life.  And perhaps you've gotten that confused with this one.  Try visiting http://digitalpaintball.net/ instead?

Will the source for build 16 be released when the global login is working?

no Smiley
It is well a MOD of DP which I wish to carry out, I started has to carry out some tests on the distributed sources but much of parameters in gamex86.dll the sources of this DLL seem to be are not distributed?
I started has to modify parameters such as noises of step or some movements plus realists (jumps rate of travel...) I do not wish to carry out MOD for half life:)

I talked to our other developer (Calrathan).  He was against it.

The game engine is still compatible with the quake2 gamex86, though, so if you want to make a mod starting with that, you can.  There's just too much potential for the current game code to be used for malicious purposes.  We don't need to see clan "mods" popping up with homing paintballs and crap like that.

no the problem I understands that you are afraid to see appearing too much mods based on your source code.
Thank you nevertheless Smiley

You might look into coding for the truepaint team.  Looks like they have similar goals and are in need of a coder: http://www.quakesrc.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=69919

If you are looking for another programing  program.... I have one that i  got at a computer camp... Anyway its called C# (No not C number, C sharp). Its very good, but i thought very complicated. Anyway, for more details just ask away. But i dont think i could redistribute it, for it would probly be against the law -.-

It's called a programming language, and I'm still unsure as to how good C# really is. It's certainly useful for me and my crazy hobbyist programming projects though.
