I made a menu for forcejoining people. I realize this may not be totally useful to a lot of you, but if you're interested:
put the menu in the menus folder, and put this in your config:
bind "j" "menu admin_forcejoin"
obviously change "j" to whatever you want. Then in-game push "j" to bring up the menu, click the player you want to move and then the color. Escape to go back to the game. It'll work on bots as well.

looks good, but i think just entering it into the consol is easy enough for me, only have so many buttons to bind things to..

It's actually easier for you to look up each player's # then type out "forcejoin 3 r" for each person you want to move?!
as opposed to taking up 1 button? You could even have a secondary button that would exec a different config to change the designations of your buttons.
That's fine and all if you do, but that was the exact reason I made it in the first place.

Well I like it... It is a pain in the ass if you load it and forget to login first though. Could you add a string that first logs you in when you hit the same button to load the menu?

I have my login bound to a button. That way I don't have to remember what it is. bind "F11" "login <thepassword>"
Thats mine, without the password. It will automatically echo "You are now logged in at level ...", so you don't have to worry about putting that in there.

Yes, I use a bind key for my login as well... I also have a deop key bind. I just wanted to see him incorporate the login into the script. bind "F11" "login <thepassword>;menu admin_forcejoin" is the result I came up with and it works just fine.

Just curious, why do you have a deop bind? I've never had to even use that command when I host my servers.

There are sometimes instances where I get reports of various bad behaviors in progress and pop in to witness them under an alias name. Occasionally, I might have to use a command that requires me to be logged in so after I initiate the command I deop myself so I don't draw attention to my having ops.

Would it be better to add a button on the menu to login and logout? Otherwise your script should be fine.

Why would he need to? Especially seeing that it's already there. Although, I might just combine the "manage players" menu with this one. {appy, is that ok?

More GUI options is what this game needs. Zorch pardon if I missed understood you...(which is very likely) Were you justifying not have options added because the exist in the console? Sorry to bother ye!

Well, no. I meant why does Jitspoe have to make more menus if people form the community have already made them? EDIT: I combined the manage players menu and the force join menu. Just dump this file into "pball\menus" and it will overwrite a file.

yeah that's fine Zorch. I will just bind that to a key for easy pop-up-ness. (you had to go show me up with all your fancy colors and all)

Why would you need to force join to observer? Wouldn't you just kick that person?

If you're in a match and your dumb clan mate went idle or doesn't go to observer, he deserves to be kicked because most likely he will cost your team game points... DuuuuuuH!
