We're going to Disney World for this event the first weekend in March.  Free autographs and Q&A sessions with the following players:

Drew Brees
Tony Dorsett
Donnie Edwards
Tony Gonzolez
Michelle Kwan
Karl Malone
Warren Moon
Magglio Ordonez
Jim Palmer
Jerry Rice
David Robinson
Ben Roethlisberger
Richard Seymour
Mike Singletary
Steve Smith
Fred Taylor
Thurman Thomas
Bill Walton
Hines Ward
Adam Vinatieri

There will be a lot of the ESPN commentators (not Chris Berman).  Big Ben (I'm not spelling his last name again) and David Robinson will be the hosts.  No autograph tables because the players just roam around MGM signing whatever you want.  A few will have security guards but from the comments from last year, everyone was accessible.

So - any requests?

Wow, they've got some big names. Jerry Rice, David Robinson, Mike Singletary, Bill Walton. Goodness.

Is dad sporting a woody right now?

Big Ben would be a must for us because he's from nearby Findlay and people would be jealous we had his autograph Smiley Toledo is like a friggin melting pot of football fans. We have Lions, Browns, and Steelers fans here, and maybe a sprinkling of Bengals.

Yeah, they do have a lot of great names.  I looked at the list and Jim Palmer is a "minor" player.  When this was announced for this year, I dismissed it because I thought it would be just the commentators doing a special weekend broadcast from the ESPN Club (there are things going on there this year as well).  Then I saw the player list and started reading the Disney boards about it.  Star power.

We will try and get Ben's autograph for you, elmono.  He's a check mark for your dad.  We'll drop the Maumee angle on him.  But he's the host so he might be difficult.  It would be easier if we had Marlie or Mitchell or both down here with us.

Too bad the NASCAR drivers are too busy with Daytona to be there

Why would they be too busy with Daytona?  This is the first weekend in March.  It's an off week for them.  Do they have something else at Daytona?

Oh, duh, I didn't look at the date for some reason and assumed it was this weekend Smiley

Maybe they're testing the COT at Bristol at that time. I can check

EDIT: They're testing the COT at Bristol on February 28 and March 1, which is a Wednesday and Thursday. Maybe they also have prior commitments for PR that weekend there

Yeah, I was surprised no NASCAR drivers were on the list since it's an off weekend.  Plus the Disney, ESPN, ABC angle too.  However, you never know with Disney.  They could be holding someone back because if they publicized it, people might go crazy.  You should have seen the boards light up when the Busch championship banquet was held down there.  "Oh my god, ohmygod, is this open to the public?  Is Jeff Gordon going to be there?"  I think more women wet their panties before I posted that the chances of him being there were two - slim and none.
