Time: 12-18 february Game: 2v2 on map pbcup.bsp. 2 5minute periods will be played. Final score is both periods combined. 1 paintgren will be used, per team ofc + 1 smoke gren for team. Regions: a) european (suggested playing time from 15GMT to 21GMT) b) north america (suggested playing time from 14EST to 23EST) System: 8 or 16 teams from both regions play. 1st round is decided by drawing lots - each team will get a random number: 1st round A. 1vs2 B. 3vs4 C. 5vs6 D. 7vs8 E. 9vs10 F. 11vs12 G. 13vs14 H. 15vs16 quarter final A VS B C VS D E VS F G VS H semi-final AB VS CD EF VS GH if only 8 teams register for the tournament, then look the schedule starting from qauarter final.. Schedule: if 16 teams sign up: Monday, tuesday - 1st round wednesday, thursday - quarter-final friday - semi-final saturday, sunday - 2 best from both regions play with eachother. if 8 teams: monday, tuesday, wednesday - quartefinal thursday, friday - halffinal saturday, sunday - 2 best from both regions play with eachother. servers: 1GT, 1EV1, 1 ch1ll, 1 OTB servers and 1 server hosted by Viciouz (but viciouz`s server can be played on only between 6-11 pm GMT) . The UK server hosted by viciouz would be the best place to host euro vs usa games. The servers will have 1 map in rotation, the pw for the server will be the same for the whole week. But think why...Ex-GT) The rest of you let you shut up, stop being such cry babies. Try letting your nuts hang instead of letting your mommy hold them for safe keeping. I would rather lose in Germany than win here. Just like my grandpa. Its more of a challenge to confront the unknown. There is more honor in trying and losing than there is in complaining. Don't you know this? I will pick up the the least favored to win player for my team. Skater I would be honored. Are you game? (jk)  I am in. Please let me know details ASAP. Also Pico and others expressed enthusiasm in participating. Doug and myself will be joining if circumstances allow. Speaking of, Blaa we need a work in exceptions for the people who work odd hours if possible, to avoid forfeits on either side. Lastly Blaa I salute your effort and dedication to organized competition. At least there are those left that like to the thrill of competition instead of crushing insects. Cough...(step up vets)

Okay sorry so slow...
I've got GRaFFiTi PaINT ={2v2 PuB}= (69.93.11.66:27910) up and running. blaa, please test it to make sure everything is okay and check your PMs.
Also, let's make sure all servers are setup identically for fairness.
Personally, I don't agree with a home hosted server regardless of your upload speed at a certain time.
In a tournament setting ALL servers need to be High Speed well established servers like those mentioned for fairness or I'll be forced to shut ours back down.
To EVERYONE...
There is nothing wrong with someone wanting to attempt a tournament like this and good luck to ALL who wish to organize, host, and participate in this tournament...
If you DON'T like this idea, that is your choice and you don't have to participate. BUT, If you have nothing nice to say DON'T POST HERE and go elsewhere!!
Nothing in this thread asks for your rude opinion.

Ummm 2v2, 2v4?? Or do you mean we can have up to 4 members for a team registered while only 2 of the 4 rotate in and play during the game? Also, I need your thoughts or responses to the contents of my first reply. It is important that those of us hosting the event stay on the same page. Also, will you be adjusting the other server configs to match what I PMd you? You can PM me again if you like... |

The configs what you sent me, basically match those what are on OTB atm. Those 4 changes you made doesnt really change anything.
yeah 2v2, but team can have up to 2 substitutes.
