"Naked pictures of Daniel Radcliffe to promote a new play are causing controversy among fans of the Harry Potter movies. The young star peels off his top half and cuddles up with a topless co-star in the promotional snaps for his London West End run in Equus. The pictures have already become popular among young female fans of the 17-year-old - most famous for his role in the boy wizard franchise. But parents are up in arms and are bombarding Harry Potter fansites with emails. One reads, "We as parents feel Daniel should not appear nude. Our nine-year-old son looks up to him as a role model. We are very disappointed and will avoid the future movies he makes." Radcliffe's spokesperson Vanessa Davies tells British newspaper the Daily Mail, "Daniel does not want to step away from Harry Potter but he does want to show he is a rounded actor capable of very different roles. He has tremendous support from Harry Potter fans." The play, written by Anthony Shaffer, opens in London on February 27."

These parents need to get a clue and get a life. He's an actor and you can be sure he doesn't want to just play Harry Potter. Actor's act, they don't become the character they play for the rest of their lives. These parents need to stop blaming everybody, actually sit down with their kids, and explain to them he's an actor and not Harry Potter. Dumb ass parents

He was a sex-obsessed guest star on Extras last season, too.

Um, so this guy can't ever have sex because it might upset his Harry Potter fans?  And he's NOT naked.  He has his shirt off.  Oh my - don't these kids go to the beach?  Some bathing suits are barely there.  But that's acceptable.  It's not like the girl was giving him a BJ or anything.  Parents - head - out - of - ass.

Don't show this article to Laura Malloy down here.  She's been attempting (and failing) to have the Harry Potter books banned from school libraries.

Why are parents so retarded nowadays? It's like they don't remember their childhoods for some reason. They can't be old enough to have been affected by the drugs of the 60s and 70s...

Parents are retarded now because they expect anyone except themselves to teach Susie and Johnny right from wrong.  Or to even educate their children.  They don't want to do it, let the school system teach the kids everything they need to know.

Elmono - did you learn everything you know about WWII in school?  Dad knows alot about the Civil War because his parents took the time to visit the battlefields and explain what happened there and why.  I know alot about the US states because my parents took the time to have family vacations every year to different places.

If the parents don't want to learn new things, why should they expect their children to learn new things.

Oh, yeah, with the ghost chick all getting frisky with him, too. That was an uncomfortable scene considering it's supposed to be a kids' flick

I don't see what the fuss is all about.  This can be settled quite easily: I'd hit that.

I love people, really. They're a constant source of amusement.

Honestly, getting upset about a freaking shirt.
