Repeated head trauma can cause brain damage

It's 10am and I've not had a chance to work on anything of my stuff yet. All I've done so far is reply to emails and delegate stuff to our remote developer.

I'm sitting here stranded in my house because there's a Level 3 Snow Emergency which means you get arrested if you're driving on the roads...

Wait a tick... You're in school, yes? Looking at your hostname... are you in Greenville? I live in Hilton Head.

Yeah, it is. Jitspoe is actually even closer than that. He's less than 2 hours, I think. We're all bunched up down here within a few hours.

That's about how I feel. It was 10:30 before I even had a chance to work on anything at all today. I spent 2 hours playing project manager/department head and offloading all the regular PHP/MySQL sites off to our contract developer. Then I worked a little bit on our C# ASP.NET project until a client showed up without an appointment, which took up an hour in the afternoon. We got the gig and he's coming by with a check tomorrow, which is good, but it's hard to get stuff done when you're constantly interrupted.

ya, that's why  I try to get in the office about 6:15.  That leaves me quiet time until almost 8 am unless one of the plants is having an issue.

You've probably got more flexibility in your schedule than I do. My boss said that I need to put in 8 hours between 8 and 6. How I do that is really up to me. I do 8:30 to 5:30 with an hour at lunch. I've toyed with the idea of doing 8:30 to 5 and just taking half an hour since all I do is eat at my desk and browse the internet, anyway. I'd rather do that at home than at work, haha.

well..

Our plants can go online as early as 5 in the winter and 2 ( thats 2 am folks) in the summer. Plant managers and dispatch gets in first and they usually key me in to any potential problems with the ready-mix systems. I try to get in about 6:15 - 6:30.  Lunch is at my desk usually doing anything I can to catch up on emails and log checking.

I try to go home about 4:00 as the plant usually shut down by then.

I've been making frequent trips to the bathroom.  My intestine feels like a bubble factory.  What I wouldn't do for a bidet.  Never actually used one, but it can't be worse than wiping myself raw.

Sadly, I'm not a redneck, nor do I have a yard sprinkler.  Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I've been spending the night wondering where everybody's at, seems like no one's posted tonight.
