Everyone is in bed asleep
I'm in my office RDS into my exchange server.
Just took it offline to do a defrag of the data base then a defrag of the file system.
Coke and red beans and rice are my current food and drink of choice.
Looks like I might be up for another hour or 2 at least.

Next day -

I'm up in PJs watching Jerry McGuire.  This weekend sucks because there's no football on and NASCAR hasn't started.  Rich is off playing racquetball.

lol, it works as much as any Microsoft product Smiley  I haven't gotten as far as doing the KMS work yet, that's next on my list (which will be interrupted by Heroes in about 40 minutes), but supposing all goes well, I should have an activated copy tonight.  When I do, I'll IM you Smiley

Oh yeah, I'm busy editing driver .infs, too (ugh, I've been doing that too much recently... you'd think companies could actually make their own .inf properly, but nooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo)

There's nothing wrong with field-testing (i.e. acquiring).  I won't be buying it for some time, especially not from how marvelous I've found it to be so far.

btw, I've moved on to FFVII now, lol, no more Vista playing

Well as of a few hours ago I was configuring a new hand scanner for our sand mine.  I just finished installing a new AP for the house ( needed more coverage), and figured out a bug that Mrs. KnacK had on her laptop with her flash drive.  Damn thing was trying to map 2 drives to one drive letter.

I just switched my router over to WPA2 and got my laptop connected back to the wireless so that's cool. I'm trying to figure out why the network shows up in the list of available networks even though I've clearly marked it not to broadcast the SSID. I'm hoping it's just because I'm connected to it so it's showing up. I've restarted both the router and my laptop so I'm betting it's that.

If you are connected it will show up.  Freaked me out once too.
Or.. you have a connection profile named the same as your ssid. That can be confusing too.
