ha, what it should have read was "Promised to Love Husband for the rest of his life"
Woo hoo! I fixed your italics for you. Yeah....I did a mod thing!
Of course...john got to lock the first post...bastard.
You're right, that is what she should have said and as for vows? Puhleeze....in today's american society most couples go into their first marriage not even thinking about vows. Okay...half of the people going into their first marriage....
I wrote my own ceremony. All the words that the minister said came from me, not him. I chose exactly what I wanted for my marriage to my husband. I know that I plan on honoring my vows because I made them personal. The problem now is that people just go in and say I do and they're done. They kiss and then it's off to the big party. I sometimes wonder if they even realize what they just did or if they're just hungry and wanting to drink and party.
Have you noticed that with people and weddings? It's like if nobody has a really good party for awhile, the couple in the group decides to get married for an excuse to throw one and be the guests of honor. Stupid idiots. I wonder if that's why they have babies, too.
"Hm, I haven't had a chance to hang out with the girls for awhile. I wonder what I should do...Ooooo! baby shower!"
