I dont know if this is "legal" pretty sure it is. Im renting a 8 slot Digital Paint2 server, its up 24/7, you have full access to upload maps configs, etc... For a 8 slot Enemy Territory server. I know alot of people might think how stupid this is but its worth a shot.

It's legal. Trading stuff isn't illegal. You might have to do some work to get each server officially owned by the other party, though.

My server, you use a program to access it, called winscp, and you can upload files and edit them, ... and you can restart server. I just would need  to change the password to upload stuff.

No, my friend owns a few servers and hosts games. Only ones that take little bandwidth and not much upload. I was lucky to get a DP server from him.
