Decided to give this a try today.  It's actually pretty slick.  It's a little flashy for my tastes (fade effects and animation), but it seems to do a decent job of letting you manage your photographs.

It even lets you upload photographs.  I didn't have much time to play with it (lunch break) -- I wanted these to all go under one "Misc" album, but I guess it made 4 "Misc" albums with one photo in each instead.  Oh well.

Interesting. I've thought about looking at Picasa, too, since pretty much everyone says it's the best app for managing photos.

I was pleasantly surprised.  I'm putting various textures (photographs of different surfaces) in appropriate albums so it will make things a lot easier when I'm working on creating new textures for paintball2 or whatever.  I've needed to do something like this for a while.

I like this jits, nice little program. Seems very simple to use and does just what you need it to. I signed up and uploaded about 160 pics from a camping trip last year in a matter of minutes. Now all I have to do is give the address to the album to friends and family that want to see em. pretty damn cool.

I'll share with you guys too.
This is a huge camping trip we all go on every year out in Llano,Tx.
It's usually 4 days and we stay on my brothers-girlfriends-dads ranch lol. There is usually about 30 people that go, friends, family and such. We go for a crawfish boil that is in Llano for the past 23 years. After that we all go swimming in the river, beautiful crystal clear water. We always have a big bonfire and usually drink waaaay too much and eat waaay too much. It's a damn good time and I can't wait for this years trip. Enjoy (=

I finally figured out how to add captions and felt really stupid.  It was right there on the main window -- didn't have to right click or anything.

There are a couple little things I don't like about it:
- Sorts files within directories by date by default.  I was going to use it for some manga (comics), but it doesn't always work right, and sometimes you don't notice it right away, then you're like, "Wait a minute, this page doesn't go here..."
- You can hold down shift and scroll through several images for a multi-select, but it shows the first image you've selected instead of the last, which makes it kind of pointless.  You end up having to use the thumbnails, which aren't always sufficient in telling which images you want.
- Dumps these stupid .ini files in all of your image directories.  They don't even contain anything useful.  I hate it when programs drop turds in your directories.
