Well, I am not happy with the curernt administration, but having Clinton in the oval office scares the shit out of me. Some of the legislation that she hass either written or sponsored takes too many of my rights away. I consider myself a conservative independant and will vote for who is best fit to hold office, not someone who belongs to one party or another. * KnacK now needs to get ready to stockpile ammo and weapons for phear of them ALL getting banned....

I just talked with the in-laws who have been on a cruise for two weeks and had no news coverage. I told them about Hilary, thinking they would be pleased since my mother-in-law is a die hard Democrat (which is why I don't talk politics with her). All she said was "oh dear, did that black guy also enter?"
I am SO going to enjoy sitting back and watching where the planks fall. I really don't want to be voting for the lesser of two evils. Maybe I'll take the elmono way.

ROTFLMAO!!! Going from worse to, impossible... Will a black man, er partial one finally RULE our country or are we already in the times where women will openly rule the world? Fact: No One had any idea who Obama was until the media started flooding television airwaves with story after story about him. Fact: Women already rule the world but no one has the guts to admit it however, I would rather see Knack with his sexy red, white and blue poka dot speedo running this country than Hilary Clinton. I mean WTF... where the hell is that lil peep squeak Ross Perot when ya need him? On a serious side, our government just gets worse and worse by the day. Neither party brings anything of substance to the table to deal with the issues of our country and both sides have made such a fuckin mockery of our country that it's only a matter of time before we'll be our own undoing. We can bicker back and forth about how the present administration have fucked things up and rest assured there is more than enough evidence to show that the Democratic party while in office, equally contributed to the present fuck ups we are forced to deal with today. The truth of the matter is that the average hard working American, you and I, are consumed by that which is force fed to us by the media which is clearly out for the most noticeable story and POLLYTICKS. Truthfully, I don't know anyone that wants to do anything other than get their bills paid, raise their children to be better than we were, go fishing occasionally, camp out by an open fire while roasting the mallows or hot dogs, go hunting, bump nasties under the stars alone or in orgy fashion, enjoy all forms of water sports on the lake, get sauced knowing your friends are there and love you enough to keep you at the party and keep you out of trouble, or just simply survive life. Our cock suckin Government is living high on the hog on our emotions and the fact each and every one of us struggle to make our way and become the best we can be while our hard earned dollar stuffs their bellies and there isn't a mother fucker here that can prove to me that any of these pathetic bitches give a shit about you or I, our future, our children or our country. I'm as heterosexual as they come but I'll suck the cock offa ANY mother fucker who can prove me wrong. I'll pray that the "mother fucker" is female because cock suckin really aint happenin with me. Larry the Cable Guy for pres!!! Git R Done!! Shhh Jimmy B. Black... STFU LOL Good lord I hope I'm not the only one who thinks like me because I really wish no ill feelings towards anyone of any race or any nationality. You would think that the human race truly wished PEACE towards all mankind!

I got no problems with a woman in the White House, but I shudder to think of a world with that woman in the White House. I have a feeling the Democrats will be so split over their potential Black man vs White woman in da house that the Republicans may indeed win again.
I have a feeling a black man would win the presidency before a white woman too... just look at voting rights. Women helped fight for black suffrage, hoping they'd get their right to vote, which didn't come until almost 10 ammendments later.
We'll see where it all goes; in the end, someone will be my boss and I'll do what they say.

We'll see where it all goes; in the end, someone will be my boss and I'll do what they say. Well said, Rolando, well said. On January 20, 2009, there will be someone taking the oath of office on the Capitol steps. Whether you voted for him/her or not, he/she will be living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for the next four years. You can bitch and moan about it all you want but guess what? It ain't going to change. And be extremely grateful that you CAN bitch and moan about it. Or - take the Alec "Hypocrite" Baldwin way. Say you'll never live in America if so-and-so is elected and then turn tail and win a Golden Globe while still living in America after so-and-so was elected.

Hunt for Red October used to be one of my top 5 movies. Now I just cringe at the sight of that bastard. he needs to go the way of a few of those other Hollywood types: Let's go buy a baby in a poverty stricket 3rd world country. Life is a lot better outside the U.S... yada yada yada

That reminds me. A bit OT but..... Wonder which nice Canal Street hotel Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are staying at while they are "helping" New Orleans?

Actually, if they stayed in a very nice hotel, that money does go into the economy of New Orleans so there's really no reason to complain about it...

That's another actress that I am totalyl disillusioned with now. I was so impressed with her and the training that she had to do for TR I.
Now? I won't watch anything with her in it. And while we're at it, let's toss the Dixie Chicklettes in the group too.

I think what happened with Katrina was horrible. I even remember you being fearful of the aftermath and me telling you the Superdome could hold up just find. I was wrong. Everyone was wrong. The damage didn't come from Katrina coming up and into New Orleans, which is how the city was "fortified". It came from behind and the lake back there. The French Quarter was fine and that's right along the river. Canel Street was fine. The Superdome showed that it's old. I find it VERY odd that Pitt and Jolie took up residence right before the football playoffs where the Saints where supposed to win and go on to the Super Bowl. Sorry guys, didn't happen. How long will the press coverage last? What's the latest spot of destruction? Pitt and Jolie will be there with a "message". I never see them working with the homeless in this country. Or the orphan kids here. Just my opinion. Hey - look at this - it's America - I can do that!

I think you're just jealous of Angelina and Brad. They don't go out seeking press. Blame the media for that. At least they're helping and going to other countries and also helping. At least they're showing support for New Orleans unlike a certain President. Yes, some celebrities just do it for the headlines. They do not. And do you honestly believe they moved to New Orleans just for a football team? That's stupid thinking right there.

How the hell could I be jealous of a person I never liked to begin with and a person who I used to like but decided that fidelity wasn't important anymore? They both sicken me. They are overplayed in the media and I don't read any articles about them. I can't wait for them to break up.

It's not their fault the media is all over them. And how can you base your like on someone on whether or not they stayed married when the divorce rate in the US itself is 50%, which is most likely far lower than the rate between celebrity couples

We choose our friends based aspects of who they are, either in some way on their or our morals, shouldn't it stand to reason we'd also choose who we like celebrity-wise based on the same? I'm not saying "hey everybody should stay together" or that that's even valid anymore in today's society but at the same time I don't have to like a celebrity just because I watch their movie. I can split the character from the actor.
I LOVE Jack Bauer, but damn Sutherland is a weird dude I don't like all that much (aka I don't endorse running around punching christmas trees while drunk).

Heh, attacking that Christmas tree was friggin hardcore On a similar note, I really don't care that Mel Gibson spouted off those anti-Semitic remarks. We all make mistakes.

Yeah, nowadays though, you do that and you have to "respond to anyone you've offended". Mel Gibson to the Jews, Michael Richards to the blacks, and now Isiah Washington to the gays. I want apologies from anyone who has ever told a Polish joke.

Actually, I want to be known as a White-Female-Atheist-German-Polish-American, thank you very much. Christmas and Easter should be banned. I want an apology for being subjected to any mention of Jesus, Christ, Our Lord, or God. If someone calls me a "girl", I want an apology. If a guy wolf-whistles at me on the street, I want an apology (not like that would happen). If a guy opens the door for me, I want an apology.
Sarcasm for the above.
In the words of Rodney King - "why can't we all just get along?" My thought is that prejudice would go away if we just stopped paying so much damn attention to it.

Like the stupid ass media who keeps calling the terrorists in 24 Muslim and then crying it's stereotying. THEY NEVER ONCE SAID THEY WERE MUSLIM!!! So in effect the media is actually doing the stereotyping and assuming all Arabics (which is the term they should be using rather than Muslim) practice Islam.
Sorry, that's the rant of the moment. It's been bugging me ever since this season of 24 has been on all the media outlets. And it's funny because the guy who plays the head terrorist isn't even Arabic, he's Greek.
