I've been trying to set up my own server and the biggest problem I'm having is I can't seem to login. I'll type "login password" (not really my password) and I get bad password as a response. Meh?

Also my server doesn't seem to show up white even though I can connect to it with my other computer. Also the name won't change to what I want it to be.

hey cade i was playing with you in my server a few days ago, cKy clan server, and if you want pm me and i can send you all of the files i use os the server is already set up. all youd have to do is run myserver.cfg and change your game name and stuff to your liking, and if that doesnt work i dont know what the problem could be.

hey Cade,

if you are running is as a listen server (not as dedicated), then you will have to execute your server.cfg before the there stored commands (such as logins) work. just type "exec myserver.cfg" into the console. myserver.cfg being what your server-configfile is

uh ive been having the same problem, but when i type exec myserver.cfg (and that IS my server file) it says "cannot exec configs/myserver.cfg. HELP PLZ. i really need to change some stuff and i cant log in.

that means that there is no "myserver.cfg" in your config directory. simply put it there. and if you dont have one, here is one: (just remove the ".txt" part)
