sometimes when i want to make a post on these forums a big gray bar gets in the way does anyone know why?

I get it as well, not all of the time but often enough to be a pain. Not justwhen I post, but when I'm viewing a thread too.

But, I did notice that if you scroll up and down several times that the bar eventually disappears.

I get those gray bars, too. But only whenever the session times out, which happens quite often on this forums. I'll see if I can get a screenshot asap. edit: It's my dads's computer and he only got IE, so I don't know if it's the same with Firefox / Opera. edit2: Not quite sure if this is the forums layout, but I get a grey bar on all pages at the end of the page now...  |

Hmmm... The bottom one is. The top one, not so much. I wonder if the stylesheet is coming through or something. Strange that it does it on both IE and Firefox, though. I'll see it I can duplicate it and then try to fix it.

I'll look at the CSS for that area tonight and see if I can find anything at all. I just tried it again in IE and I can't duplicate the error no matter what I do.

That's so weird. I have 2.0.0.1 here at work and I just looked at this thread and the only gray bar that I have is all the way down at the bottom of the page, under the SMF copyright info. That one is supposed to be there. I wish just once I could see what you guys are seeing.

it isnt that often though. it only happens about once a week or less. |

Is that frequency the same for the rest of you that see it?
I wonder if it could somehow have something to do with permissions since me and ElMono and Jitspoe don't see it and we're all at higher permission levels... That might be a thought.

I think it might have something to do with page load times. I think if the whoel page is not loaded, it might display that bar.
Just a thought.
