I work for Best Buy and we've had a shipment of 36 PS3s from before Christmas that, to date, I don't think we've sold out. On the other hand, we can't keep Wii shipments of comparable size in stock for more than 3 hours.

Sony is getting desperate now. They're now saying the Wii is an impluse buy and the hardcore gamers are only getting the PS3. Which is BS. I know this one guy at work. He is as hardcore a gamer as they get but he refuses to buy the PS3 and wants a Wii. Other people I've talked to you play games a lot also would rather get a Wii. And now Sony is saying Nintendo is creating false demand by not shipping enough units since you can't find any in stores. Uh, Sony, you're a bunch of idiots. That's what your company does, although it hasn't worked this generation. Stupid Sony. LINK |
