In Germany static IP adresses are very rare.
In most cases you would need to order and pay for them.

He obviously didn't want to get caught. I checked through the logs on my servers for ip's starting with "84.159", and all I found was "newbie(1)".

O.o wow thats really many servers ... but err jits ... I hate dynamic IP's... wonder how many legit players are behind 84.159.* WTH ...  u cant ban whole 84.159.xxx.xxx ip range ... thats 65534 persons who would receive a global ban message if they trey to play ... and this because of one fucking wannabe cheater , using penix wallhack  . I know the cheater has to be banned ... but i cant play anymore if u globalban 84.159 ... isnt there another way to ban the cheater  i want to play pb again |

im definetly not the only one with an ip starting with 84.159 cause i know 6 other people playing pb and there ip starting with 84.159 ... ... and the last thing i would ever do is cheating in an mp game ... its no fun with cheating isnt it ? i loathe people who cheat in any kind of mp game ... i just want to play pb again the problem is ... how can i proof that it wasnt me cheating ? and how can i get unbanned ? cause if jit unbans 84.159 the cheater isnt banned anymore 2 ... pls help me anyone |

Hopefully once the ban is lifted in 28 more days (February 5, 2007), that cheater will have learned his lesson or lost interest all together.

 28 day O.o ok thats better than never play pb again ...hm its a very long time ... -.- i hope the global login system is coming out and that things like this cant happen anymore ... f****** cheaters  ... however the main thing is ill be able to play pb again ... even if i have to wait 28 thats worthwhile. idk if everythings right english ,sry in the case of not.

I lifted the 84.159.* ban for now. Hopefully the cheater got the message and is aware that he'll get an extended hardware ban when the next version comes out if he cheats again.
