When did shooting ever play a part in the FPS? I thought it was about double jumping, alternate routes and capping? I jest.
Is there a script in the works that kicks and reports, rather than just reporting?

1. I was bored.
2. Excuses with words ending in "rly"
3. I dont care.
4. Wasn't me.
5. My friend / relative did it.
6. I wanted to be like er33t. (all time WTF)
7. I dont really (rly) care any how. I passed the cheat to my friends.

Well cheating is stupid and takes fun out of the game.
And I swear that this morning around 3:00 some dude was hacking like crazy.
He was super fast, you couldn't shoot him unless by luck, and he always shot you in like a milisecond after he saw you.

By "super fast", do you mean just fast in strafejumping and trickjumps, or do you mean more like just walking and running on the ground unnaturally fast (speedhack) ?
Because if he was just good at jumping and stuff, chances are high the he is probably just a well skilled player. Otherwise some kind of cheat.

2. To be the best

I think some new players see skilled people flying through the map at ridiculous speeds, pulling off amazing shots and accurately predicting where people are going to be, and then they think, "They must be cheating. I want to get cheats and play like that, too!"
Then they find a cheat, still play horribly, and get banned. That's why the majority of players that get caught are new players that nobody knows. At least, that's my guess.

Next time you see something like that, switch to observer, chasecam the person, and record a demo. I wonder if any OTB admins visit the forum and could assist us in identifying cheaters if they are found on that server. Of course, with as crowded as that server gets on small maps like ub_cliff, it might just be warping caused by lag.
