i have a problem that i might already know the answer to
in certian parts of certian maps i get all glitchy and only in that spot on the map...
i dont know if my intenet sucks or my computer sucks or there is a problem elsewhere...
please help
these are my specs

Amd Sempron 3000+ 1.81GHz
384mb ram
i dont know the video but its not old or bad

and my internet is wifi cable

Might be the reflective water.  Try r_reflectivewater 0 at the console.

this happened to my roomate too, but his computer is crap. anyway, it would happen when he would turn a corner and have 10 people/bots on his screen. or ant time there was a lot of moving objects in an open space for that matter.

Yeah, jitspoe is right.  Find the thread on here about lag and see the things you can type in console.  Like;

r_reflectivewater 0
r_oldmodels 1; vid_restart
cl_maxfps 0
cl_sleep 0
cl_locknetfps 0
cl_cmdrate 80
cl_drawfps 1
cl_drawpps 1
Turn your v sync off
r_stainmaps 0   < Not too sure about that.
