Bet you thought this was going to be a bitch about the new design. No, I'm bitching because of the new arcade. I'll never get off this thing now. The original Frogger?!!! I'm hooked. I'm rusty right now but just wait. I was Queen of Frogger. I ruled. I would bust the game all the time. Now, if I could just get this almost 45 year old brain to go back 20 years.

Yeah, I kind of figured it was. I tend to change it a lot, don't I? I'm actually quite happy with this look so I think it will stay for a while. Maybe even a year? A whole year!!!
I think the consensus so far is that the arcade is fun times. I like it, Nathan ended up coming home from work like an hour and a half late last night, Chris has played it a bunch. I think it's good stuff. More games to come, too.

Disnut I didn't know you were of the female persuasion. Let me know how well your almost 45 year old brain does so I can get an idea how mine will do.
I have a sister in Cartersville, GA... I wonder how far that is from you.

Yeah, I wanted to get Pitfall but I didn't see it on the site I get them from. I think the games have to be coded specially for an SMF arcade because of how the score reporting works, obviously needing to report to the local server.

Yep, female here. Mother to elmono (did I just admit that?), mother-in-law to vengeance (that's worse than admitting the elmono thing). Cartersville is northwest of the Atlanta area. We are northeast of the Atlanta area. It would be about 1-1/2 to 2 hours for us to get to Cartersville and vice versa. There's just no direct road between the areas except Highway 20 and that's a two lane road that gets used by tons of trucks and if you get behind one of them, you're screwed. Distance wise, it sounds easy. Practically, it's not. |
