Repeated head trauma can cause brain damage

What is your favorite song from a videogame? Maybe we can have two different answers to the question... one for traditional game music and one for games like GTA that use some of our favorite songs as the soundtrack.

For regular game music, mine is without a doubt Frog's theme from Chrono Trigger.

As for other songs, that's a really hard call. I imagine that it's probably in GTA: San Andreas, but it's hard to choose just one. Gn'R "Welcome to the Jungle" is used and that's a definite possibility but "Free Bird" by Skynyrd is also used.

So what are your favorites?

I have no idea. I know there are tunes that I like but I don't remember which ones and where

The sad music from FFVII.  Think outside Aeris' house.

mechwarrior 2 had some kickass tunes in it.  Very epic sounding for a computer mech game back in the mid 90s.

other than that, i've really enjoyed the songs packaged in NFSU2.  "determined" by mudvayne made me want to check up on the band again, and the new album looks promising as a result.  I also bought skindred's album "babylon" based on what i heard, good reggae metal.

I absolutely hate the soundtrack in NFSU2. The first one was better. At least I didn't turn the music off like I did in the second one

I still need to play NFSU2... Actually, I still need to install NFSU2. I burned it and put it away, never to be seen again.

haha, i dont care for the rap section of NFSU2, though i do like some rap.  The metal and punk aspects of the soundtrack are coo though.  it just makes me want to continue to shredding tires to that crazy stuff.  i guess its more like driving in my own car that way.

QFT.  I disabled over half the songs.  They were just bad.

As for my favorite song... hmm.  I'm a sucker for the classic DOOM music.  It's been a while since I've listened to it, so I couldn't say specifically which song, though.

How many times did I listen to Frog's Theme when we lived in Lightsey, Nathan? Hehe.

Ooh, Full Throttle was good. It's hard to pick a favorite though. Games with music I love include Rez, Katamari Damacy, Halo 1/2, Jet Set Radio/Future, Final Fantasy 3, hmmm...
