Superficial - Nicole Richie is too successful for own good

Quincy Jones says his friend Lionel Richie's daughter Nicole Richie is having trouble because of the pressures of being successful. He says:
"You get caught up in the peer pressure and the hoopla - it's a media frenzy. It's insane. Success doesn't help. Processing success is a major, major, major process. I try to tell the young kids there are two cardinal rules: You should approach creativity with humility and have your success with grace. It's a gift from God. You don't deserve it. You are a vehicle of a higher power. Don't abuse it. I adore Nicole. I've known her since she was a baby. She's a very smart girl.
When she was younger she worked eight hours a day for eight years to become an Olympic figure skater.
She's a very talented girl."
Okay now he's just making stuff up. I'm pretty sure I never saw Nicole Richie in the Olympics. The only event she'd be capable of pulling off is awkwardly falling down the stairs. And that's not even an event. It's more of an "incident" that'd ensue after I pushed her. As for being too successful? Yeah, I guess she is. The way the guy who cleans the gas station toilet is too successful.
