Everybody knows him as one half of the founders of Hanna-Barbera so it's obvious what his contributions to the TV industry was so no explanation needed. He was 95 and I'm assuming he died of natural causes

Wow...he gave a lot to our culture and will be missed. RIP.

Long before The Simpsons, there was The Flintstones.  Hanna-Barbera cartoons were the ones I grew up with.  RIP.
