You'd be surprised. There are some forums where it's a huge deal and others where post counts aren't even displayed outside of user profiles.

Post count is more of an e-penis thing than anything, really. It can be nice to have a big post count but it's not huge.

Good news: I finally got in contact with somebody at ServerPronto and he (or she?) changed the contact email address. Hopefully Delirious still has access to his yahoo account. It's a better shot than an email address that's completely inaccessible, anyway. Now I just need to get in contact with Delirious and see if he can get it straightened out from here.
