This new show premieres tonight and I was hesitant to watch it.  A show that takes Lost off the air for 13 weeks?!  Then I read the article in TV Guide (a very harsh critic).  They like it and revealed that the show, like 24, will end the day after the initial 13 week run.  If the show survives, it will come back with another day three months later or six months later.  So I think we'll give it a try.

Yeah, I think I'm going to give it a try, too. I like Taye Diggs and the premise seems interesting enough. And oh, hey, Adam Baldwin is also in it, so that seals the deal. Definitely watching this. I will miss Lost, though.

We knew we saw Adam Baldwin somewhere else and it bugged up through the entire two hours.  Thank goodness for IMDb.  He was the Major who shot up the alien holding place in Independence Day.  He's been in other things but that role was the one we most remembered.

And BTW - we liked the show.  Don't know why critics thought you needed to really pay attention to it.  Are we that stupid?

Chris and I of course know Adam Baldwin from Firefly and Serenity. Jayne, yay!

As for Day Break, I liked it, too. It had good action sequences and will be fun to try to piece things together as Hopper pieces them together. I don't think you need to pay that much attention but I think they're probably just referring to trying to keep track of things that Hopper sees or learns on one day and how it affects the next day(s) and what he does. Not that cerebral, but it's more so than most shows, I think.

Verdict, in short: I'm going to keep watching. I like it.

If he's in it, then I'm watching the show. Smiley

It might make me feel better for NEVER watching 24 again.

I told Vengeance that I'd be downloading 24 this season so she can catch up when she realizes what she's missing Smiley
