Yeah, so kids can't play tag at recess anymore? Come ON!!! We really are going to end up with the next generation being of bunch of fat wussies with no social skills.

Are you kidding me? Kids get hurt. Plain and simple. It's a part of growing up. This is like saying Marlie should never have a dog again because she broke her leg once. As for holding the school liable, there's a simple solution... have the parents sign a form at the beginning of the school year to not hold them liable. The parents who don't sign it will cause their kid to sit out recess which the kid would definately not like and show the parents to be complete tools who obviously don't remember what it was like to be a kid. I hate people.

Of all the stupid things.  My gosh, I played dodgeball and all those games and I turned out fairly well (shut up elmono).  What are they supposed to do?  Nerf Dodgeball?  These parents are so hypocritical.  The kids can't play dodgeball to get their reflexes bettered, so what is left?  Video games?  Then the parents will bitch because their kids are spending too much time playing on the computer and the school should do something about it.  Let's take away recess altogether and have the kids spend their entire school day inside without any access to sunlight.  Hell, even prisoners on death row get one hour of exercise per day.

But then again, the idiot mother down there is still fighting to get Harry Potter out of the school libraries.

Actually, they did start using nerf dodgeballs. During my school days, we had both the soft ones and those big, red, stinging mofos. Just depended on what mood the gym teacher/recess teacher was in
