What in the world? More from the world of crazy Steinbrenner: Torre is expected to be fired unless he resigns first. What is that BS? Just because they haven't won a World Series since 2000? Um, the Cubs haven't won since 1904. Some teams have never won a World Series. At least the Yankees have made it to the playoffs for most of the years between 2000 and 2006. That's something to be proud of. Steinbrenner is just mad that he realizes money doesn't buy championships and is taking it out on everybody else. Just like the report that ARod might be traded. I know owners who would kill to be in the playoffs but yet Steinbrenner is like a stupid spoiled child.

Let's see, the Braves didn't even make the playoffs for the first time since 1993 or so and there's no danger of Bobby Cox being sacked.  To use the American Idol theme "so you had a bad day".
