Since I'm going to be getting the munchkin ready pretty soon I couldn't read all of it yet, but it was interesting that I read the part about not thinking that you can do great things, too and the part of not setting people apart just because they do great things when I just posted that catfish was a brain child for taking up engineering.  Smiley

life is about making sure when you think you;re better than eveyone else you have some way to back it up....
No one knows for sure what they want to do with their lives at any age to be sure.... they may have a plan, but usually those plans change.
Most people wish they were those people who had those rock solid plans and goals, i fear them.  The people who are so adamant with those goals will be the most righteous, and the least likely to ever see or learn from their mistakes.

My goals have changed so many times, but I did know that I wanted to help people in some way. I think I chose social work because there are so many different aspects of the profession and I really can't run out of options.

word, but at least your goal is adaptable. its not like "i will have a degree in 2 years, i will be married in 3, have a kid in 4, etc."  you cant think that far ahead and still expect to accomplish all that.  You may be able to, but i think for people such as the President, having nonadaptable goals can screw up 287 million lives instead of just one haha.
