Repeated head trauma can cause brain damage

« on: Sep 29, 2006, 06:56 AM »

Let's keep it confined to consoles only, so no PC, even though that's going to hinder Nathan Tongue And actually, as far as money, I suppose it would make all of our votes for money spent on the PC, so consoles only.

I'd say that I spent both the most time and money on Super Nintendo. My brother and I played an obscene amount of hours of Mario Kart and we still play it today when I go home. My sister is now into the game, as well. (Side note and *knock on wood*, I hope nothing ever happens to that game cartridge... it's been like 15 years and going strong). Probably also spent the most money on SNES during its lifespan. I think at the max, we probably had around 50 games, which is more than I ever had for NES, N64, Gamecube, Playstation, or Xbox.

The N64 got the most of my money and my time. I don't know how much time me and my friends wasted on GoldenEye. We played for hours at least twice a week or more together. Not to mention the times we played Mario Kart 64 and Star Fox 64. Heck, we played GoldenEye so much we came up with a GoldenEye Constitution of things we could and could not do... the most important being not able to look at the other players' corner of the screen to see where they are.

I remember the Constitution, even though I didn't play GoldenEye with you guys all that much. I remember the situations. I don't know that I much liked that, though. I'd always be walking around unarmed and Davey would decide that I'd done something wrong and cap me.

hey you wanna survive, get yoself a gun.  We ain't got time in Goldeneye for sightseers!  Would you let a guy with no gun run around in BF2? Smiley No, cuz they got a friggin knife... and we didn't like getting bitch-slapped in that old Bond game.

hehe, sorry.  I wasn't part of the Constitution group, but I played Goldeneye for an hour everyday after class Freshman year.

Davey would kill you because that's the point of the game Smiley

No, I remember something that we did at Chris' house where we all walked around like we were employees of the Facility. No one had any weapons drawn. Every now and then, Jeff would draw his weapon and we'd kill him. Davey would always decide that I had broken some rule and kill me unprovoked.

Oh, heh, forgot about that scenario. Jeff was always the bad guy. Then Davey would get his gorram sniper rifle and own everybody
