I hope the waters aren't that rough where your grandparents are.

It doesn't sound like the waves caused the ship to list. So no worry about G&G. Besides, when we had one day of rough seas on the Disney cruise, they loved it because it produced waves in the adult only pool. They and Rich went swimming!
And the 22 crew members were all rescued.

I never thought of waves in the pools! That would be awesome!
And that pic is scary. I hate seeing ships in distress like that.

How long before (1) this appears as a Drama in Real Life in Reader's Digest (I predict five months) and (2) it becomes a movie of the week (I predict eight months).

well, maybe not that long depending on how that new Costner/Kutcher Coast Guard movie does.... if it makes big bucks, they'll be scrambling to do the newest event.

The Guardian is going to be... bad... I think the last good movie Kevin Costner in was Thirteen Days and even then he wasn't even the main character. Before that movie, I don't even know the last good movie of his. And now Ashton Kutcher... yeah... right... a serious movie?

No way, Kevin Costner was the main character of Thirteen Days. He wasn't JFK or RFK but I think the movie definitely was his.

I never considered him the main character. The main character was always JFK. You just saw what was going on through Costner's perspective.

Training Day: The movie was from Ethan Hawke's character's perspective but according to the Academy, Denzel Washington was the main character, hence the reason Hawke was nominated for SUPPORTING actor and not lead actor
