Repeated head trauma can cause brain damage

Dunno if anyone's seen this yet or not... Anyone have any thoughts?

They make valid points and I agree with them... but c'mon now, who was it that attacked the World Trade Center? Last I checked it was Muslims. I don't care if they were fundamentalists or not. The article mentions that the show portrays a middle-class Muslim family as terrorists and I think that's the point. There's no way to tell the family in 24 apart from more stereotypical-looking terrorists. I'm not going to judge someone and never give them a chance just because they're Muslim but I will be suspicious of them until I know that they're not about to blow me up or anything. I think this article is just getting back to racial profiling and unfortunately, it's a necessity and I'm all for it.

I understand the problem a little bit, but 24 made sure that this particular family were portrayed as radicals and not the norm. There were two different instances in the episodes that showed this that I saw. One was the Muslim woman who was talking to the dad about the outrage that people would do that and that they thought they represented them when they don't.

The other moment came when Heller told the dad that if they killed his daughter that his own people would think he was a barbaric pig. Again, showing that this group is a group of radicals and not representative of the entire population.

And it looks like the kid is going to betray his parents. If he does that, then it wouldn't be a stereotypical protrayal. If it was, then that kid would be steadfast with his parents until the end, despite what they did

Well, I missed the boat on this discussion, hehe. I really need to figure out how to get the front page of the forums to denote that there are new posts in this forum. Heck, even lighting up the TV & Movies new post image would work for me.
