I finally managed to get Debian installed on my laptop... took forever because it didn't have the network drivers.  I can finally apt-get things from the 'net now.  I just got lynx.

That's what I'm using to make this post

After looking "dork" up in the dictionary, I think "nerd" or "geek" would have been a more appropriate title.
