I notice that Bumblebee shows up initially as an older Camaro.  The version of him in the trailer is the old school version at least.

I know that by the movie's end, he will be a brand new one, because the biggest toy slated to be released is a 13-inch version of him in the new Camaro body style featuring motion, lights, and sound.

Looks supersweet, though I'm still bummed he's not a Beetle.

Yeah, apparently he gets reconstructed as the new Camaro. Notice the yellow VW Beetle next to him at the car lot? Nice little nod to the original Bumblebee and letting people know they're not forgetting the Transformers' past.

Smiley Been waitin since 1986 for this one.  Rolando will be happy for a long time to come if this is even a mediocre movie.  The last time I was this excited about a Fourth of July movie release was ID4, which blew my mind back in 8th grade.

Sure did rock. Rocked my socks off. Vengeance, who knows nothing about the Transformers, said it was f***king awesome.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Man, they sure did do a good job disguising Hugo Weaving's voice for Megatron. It didn't even sound like him. I was disappointed with one thing: They said that the bickering between Megatron and Starscream and the fact Starscream wanted to lead the Decepticons would be in the movie. The only hint of that was Megatron telling Starscream he failed again.

Bumblebee was a mad pimp. Yeah. Loved his "Bee-otch" bumblebee air freshener in the car.

Shia LeBeouf: He was excellent in this movie. He has a great future ahead of him. Oh, and Megan Fox? Scorchin'

Frenzy was a little bitch in that movie. Good lord. The little Decepticon is who I'm talking about. He was friggin nuts. Frenzy killing himself was funny. "Oh shit!"

I'm sad Jazz died Sad But I knew he would just based on the trailers once I found out that was Megatron stomping on Jazz. I knew right then Jazz had no chance.

Loved the Autobots, especially during the house scene. Heh. Oh, and I loved when everybody cheered when Optimus Prime's truck was first shown on screen. Was the sweetness.

I count three Decepticon survivors for the sequel, too: Scorponok (although with him being in a symbiotic relationship with Blackout, he could be dead once Blackout died), Barricade, and Starscream. I already know they plan on having Soundwave and Shockwave in the sequel.

Cannot wait for Transformers 2

That movie probably had more action than all the movies I've seen in the past 3 years combined.  It was like an avalanche - once things got in motion, they just didn't stop.

Which was a good thing for a movie of this type. And I loved it. I was happy they started the movie right away with Blackout attacking the base.

Indeed.  I always like action.  I just wish I didn't have to pee halfway through the movie.
