Another death at Disney World

There was a young boy who died after riding Rock N Roller Coaster at Disney World today. The parents say he was four years old, Disney says he was seven. I read the article that's out there and the writers didn't even identify the attraction! All they said was the description of how it goes from 0 to 60 MPH in two seconds. So, if your child is four, why the hell would you put them on that attraction?
I'm tired of people slapping their kids on rides at theme parks with absolutely no regard for their safety. I just went to Disney World over Memorial Day weekend. With a broken neck. Did I ride Rock N Roller Coaster? Hell no! I stayed outside while RichN rode it. Did I ride Twilight Zone and drop 13 stories? Hell no! I went through all the preshow stuff and then bailed out.
I just read a Disney World trip report that sickened me. This guy's kid just HAD to ride Primevil Whirl. It's like a carny type mouse ride. The height requirement was too much for the kid (I think it's 48" - anyway Demon Child could not and did not ride it). So the devoted dad stuffed the kid's shoes and then took him on. There's a freaking reason that requirement exists! The restraints are barely enough to hold me in, let alone a small kid. Ugh!
Off the soapbox now.

I put the CNN article up in News and Politics and that report has the attraction and says the child was 12.
It sounds like a lot of people freaked and just mixed up this story with the Mission:Space one from before.
If the kid was 12 then I'm thinking there was some sort of health problem there.
As for the stupid parents...yeah, remember when we went on and I bitched to you after about the kids that stood on their toes a bit for measuring at the mom's encouragement. I was loudly annoyed through the whole line and I'm glad I made that woman so uncomfortable. It's like she wanted to tell me to mind my own business but she knew if she did I'd cause a scene and then the officials would find out her kids were too short.
Stupid people are just...stupid.
