It looks like they've got a pretty good idea. I'm reminded of a quote I saw on bash earlier regarding Firefox and it applies here:
Firefox is better than women.
Can women block pop-ups? No.
Can Firefox show you naked women? Yes.
Something to that effect. But it's true and accurate enough.

Every time I use it it ends up hogging 100+ megs and more often than not does not close when I close it. I have to kill the process with task manager. It also takes a long time to load.

It's not quite using 25MB for me. Granted, I just opened it, nor do I leave it open for a long time unless I'm doing extended browsing but even then, it doesn't ever go very high.
