John, I'm surprised you didn't start these topics while I was at work.

Only Jack would rob a convenience store to keep someone from moving...

I thought about creating the threads but then I realized that it would probably end up being us posting in them primarily so I just waited for you to do it, hehe.

I wonder what was wrong with just slashing the guy's tire. When Chloe said she needed 10 minutes, I think I probably would have been thinking something that could be done in 10 minutes and not an hour. I guess it worked out, though, with all the bureaucratic bullshit that always seems to go on at CTU.

I was thinking slashing the tires, too, but you know Jack... he's extreme

Yeah, he is. And in the end, I suppose it worked out since Chloe ended up getting sidetracked and whatnot.

If he would have slashed the tires it would have raised serious suspicions with the terrorists. Why would just his tires get slashed? there were other cars there and he just would have carjacked them while realizing that someone was on to him.

If Jack had slashed all the tires then it just wouldn't make sense and he'd risk getting seen. Something quick and violent and believable was awesome.

But...Jack is way too trained and too smart to be an average thug and that showed.

That's true. The terrorists would have to suspect something if what appears to be one of their higher-up guys had his tires slashed. I suppose they might think it was just people lashing out at someone who appears to be Muslim... surely people would have seen the news and known that Islamic terrorists were holding the Secretary of Defense captive. You know how people in this country are... they see a Muslim, they act out against them for the crimes of other people in their religion. Heck, it's already happened in a previous season.

Yusuf Auda played by Donnie Keshawarz

I'm allowed to look that stuff up since I already screwed myself thanks to IMDB.

I told you you're not allowed to look up 24 stuff on IMDb...

And Yusef was sweet, he was the Middle East's version of Jack
