Oh... and Ammo Bag Frenzy. Where I did nothing but drop ammo bags at guys at the top of the stairs on the Gator who were throwing grenades like crazy and dying. I actually ended up getting more teamwork points than Super that round because of that.

I don't know if we have two Murders on the Gator or not. I may have another solo one there... it was that last time we played when the helicopter was in the hangar bay shooting at us. Well, before, actually. There was some kid standing in a stairwell and we traded shots and grenades and he ran off. I pursued him and as I came around a corner and looked up the stairs, there was him and two buddies and with a 3-shot burst weapon, managed to kill all three of them. That was crazy.

Well, I did it. I installed the 1.4 beta. So if you guys want, go ahead and do it as well (yes, there's a way to continue playing regular 1.3). In 1.4 is the Infantry-only server setting and the new map Road to Jalalabad so I'm looking forward to playing some vanilla without the gorram armor and jets

Infantry only? I like the sound of that. I was just telling my friend they need a setting to remove all the high-power vehicles and just leave the transports.

Hopefully Chris can tell us later if 1.4 allows transports to stay in. I'm perfectly fine with that. I can deal with the risk of getting run over if it means that it's safe to move anywhere without fear of an APC or tank killing me.
Just thinking about how nice Warlord will be without armor. The Plaza can be taken so easily by armor, as can the Mosque. Will be nice to be able to only have to worry about grenades when taking the Hideout instead of armor shooting through the sandbags.

Jalalalalalalalalalalalalabad is a tough map, very heavy on the infantry fighting once you get to the city. Still some armor. The Fountain capture point is a beast. The flag is located on top of an empty fountain. You can easily hide inside the fountain and ambush any enemy coming to get it. But there are positions that are higher than the fountain to get rid of any of those pesky guys. Lots of fun at that flag. There's plenty of places to hide from armor, too. As for the Infantry Only, I tried it out on a LAN I set up since there were no infantry only servers up yet and it really does mean infantry only. Not a single vehicle on the map, not even a buggy. Kind of blows, especially for the larger maps, but I guess it's a fair trade to get rid of the armor and jet whores. I wonder if DICE could eventually make it so the transports (buggies, Humvees, Vodniks, boats, ATVs, jetskis, and forklifts) stay and all the armor, jets, and choppers get the heck out. I also have not had the CTD problem when clicking on Join Game

They should make a road rage version and just populate the maps with hundreds of atv's, pickup trucks, buggies, etc. Possibly remove the guns so you're forced to ram into each other.
