So, what movies are you looking forward to in 2005?

Mine:
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Batman Begins
War of the Worlds
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Same here, pretty much. Big surprise there. I've not actually read Hitchhiker's Guide, so I'm not looking forward to it as much as those who have. But it's still something I'd be interested in seeing.

Of course, the major film is of course Episode III.

I'm looking forward to at least three of the five already mentioned. I'm not sure that Batman Begins or War of the Worlds is really my type of movie. Hitchhiker's Guide is a big deal for me because I read it so long ago and I always thought there would be a movie one day. I'm pleased to see that it's going to h appen. I doubt they'll be able to do the book justice, but I'm willing to watch it.

Surprisingly, Episode III is not that big of a deal to me. I already know what happens so this is more about seeing how George Lucas decides to spiff the story up with details. Technically, I guess all three of the movies I'm looking forward to are like that. I already know the stories for all three. Thank goodness 2006 will be bringing PoTC II with it. New story. Surprises all around.  Smiley

Oh, come on. You have got to be looking forward to Batman Begins. Badass Christian Bale as Batman? Heck yeah

Christian Bale = Not my type of badass...

I just keep seeing him as the skinny psycho with a chainsaw. I'll keep an open mind though for when I see it.

badass as christian bale may be, there is at least one reason im not looking forward to batman begins.  have you guys seen the new batmobile? it looks like a friggin hummer or a tank.  Batman may have an arsenal at his disposal, but come on! the sleek, sporty car traces all the way back to 1930s batman.

That's only bad thing I've seen from Batman Begins. Have no idea why they made a Bat Tank. I've read it's some sort of Wayne Enterprises prototype vehicle. Of course, seeing the Batmobile plow through other cars and seeing destructive mayhem might be fun. But at least idiot Schumacher isn't directing this one.
