Song of the South has a VERY special place in my heart. Not just because it's Disney but because it took me from a very dark spot in my life to a much better place. That film honestly saved me. I will be the first person in line to buy the thing if it comes out.

LostArt, you sound like a real Disney fan.? Do you ever go down to the "mecca", as my one friend calls the place disnut would like to call home?
Ahhhh, the Mecca. I've been down to the land of Walt down in sunny Florida twice and it was two years in a row back in high school (so about 6 years ago). I went with our high school marching band on a trip there (which Super remembers, good times), and then i went with my family. THe family trip was awkward because i went with my mom, my dad, and my brother. Oddly though, my parents had just gotten a divorce, so that made for some awkward situations. I really enjoyed the park, but my memories are skewed due to my family haha.

Just twice? Damn, better go a lot more to keep up. I have Dizzy World on speed dial. Seriously. I'm coming up on the 36th trip (or something like that, I honestly have lost count). Song of the South was the film that started it all. Blame it on Uncle Remus.

I don't remember too much of DW, either. I've also been twice, once in first grade and again after 10th grade (right?). Most of the memories I have of DW are from the band trip but even those are sketchy at best. I didn't know too many people in the band then so the whole thing kind of sucked. I did ride Star Tours a dozen or so times, though.

I did STAR TOURS UNTIL I PUKED!!!!! I dont ride real roller coasters so i rode that thing like 15 times in a row. Im crazy like that Yeah, I hearya Super. THat trip would have been a lot more fun if you and i had been good buddies by then. Me, Justin, and AJ Bowen roomed together there, and there was plenty of hijinx; just think St. Louis for a week haha.

I'm not a big fan of traditional coasters, either, so I went nuts on Star Tours. I think it was 11 times that I ended up riding it. I got ragged away by the guy that I hung with most of the time that week... Sure you knew him. He played trombone. Rob. Can't remember his last name anymore. Yeah, it would have been infinitely better if we'd been buds then. We hardly knew each other then.

We've always thought Super was wierd for going on Star Wars 11 times in a row. But, LostArt, you take the prize if you actually did it 15 times.

I thought 11 times was good, haha. Now it's not so impressive and if Star Tours is still around whenever I make it back down that way, if ever, I'll have to try and duplicate or better Rolando's 15. I would have done more, no doubt about it, but I don't think I even discovered the ride until around lunchtime. And by discovered, I mean, found it in the park (a map would have helped, but that would have been too easy) and started riding it. By that time, it was time for lunch and all. I also rode that similar ride in some pavilion or something where you go through the body and it teaches you about it. I can't remember what it was called and have no clue if it's even there anymore. Very similar to Star Tours, so maybe that can count as 1/2 of a Star Tours ride, haha.

It's called Body Wars.
Yeah, you went on Star Tours 11 times and never touched the Tower of Terror. I bet you would have gone on Rockin Roller Coaster if it was open then... Aerosmith.
For the most part, Disney World roller coasters are quite tame. They're builiding their first true E-ride roller coaster right now in Animal Kingdom called Expedition: Everest

Body Wars, that's it.
Like I said, though, Tower of Terror isn't really my thing. And I may have gone on the Aerosmith ride, dunno. I've never been big on roller coasters. I did ride Space Mountain a couple times, though. That was pretty tame. I guess I take from my mom... my dad and brother love roller coasters, my mom and I aren't big fans.
What is an E-ride roller coaster?

E-ride is a reference to back when Disney had tickets for the attractions instead of one price for everything. E tickets were the most expensive and, therefore, for the best attractions. Space Mountain was an E-ticket. The trolleys on Main Street were A-tickets (cheap). So now when anything Disney is referred to as an E-ride, it's a primo one.
And I will need strong drugs and drink to get on Expedition: Everest. Just looking at the track makes me ill. That said, I LOVE Rock N Roller Coaster, and all the mountains at Magic Kingdom. I finally don't shake on Twilight Zone anymore (thanks Vengeance!).

Rockin Roller Coaster is the best one there, at the moment. Zero to 60 in a couple of seconds, straight into a loop. All in the dark with Aerosmith music blaring in your ear. Awesome!!

Anyone can handle Tower of Terror. MARLIE went on it. She screamed and cried, but she was still able to give me a smile at the end of it all. hehehe. I'm not going on Expedition Everest. That's one thing that I just can't do. Aerosmith was great, though. Just when you think you're going to puke from the speed they throw you upside down and then gives your stomach time to catch up with the rest of you.

Super, remember how they left the park open that extra half hour or hour or what for us band kids the night we were at that park? THAT was when i got in most of my star tours craziness. Most of that 15 times was IN A ROW at the end of the night. I went on Body wars once; it was more of a disorienting, jolty mess in my opinion. I was more scared/annoyed than entertained. And not everyone can do the TOwer of Terror; I've been there twice and not once gotten on it, Space Mountain, or the Rockin ROllercoaster. I just aint down with the coasters, actual motion rides. SO more power to the rest of you guys with guts!

Screw that, missy! I'm not the one writing the trip reports. YOU have to go on it because of your journalistic integrity. I have to stay on the ground and make fun of you to fulfill my daughter in law duty of being a bitch.

No way, Jose. Yeah, journalistic integrity, my ass. You really want all these planetsuper people to know where they can access my trip reports? You are featured in two of them. Or, as Demon Child says, "the internet people might find out about it".

And I'll pay money to see it. Expedition Everest is going to be one badass coaster. From the track, I believe it's going underground somewhat.

No way. I'll scream and throw a fit and they won't let us on it anyway. Disnut, you can tell people where your trip reports are. I'm pretty proud of how much a pain in the ass I am on those trips. LOL
